RivahFest Trip Report

On Saturday June 21, 2014 a small team from the Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace went to RivahFest in Tappahanok, VA to worship the Lord and lead others in worship from the Gospel Stage at the Festival! The Lord began to move during the time in Tappahanok and as a result many were healed and transformed by the Power and Presence of God! Below is a video with testimonies and pictures from our time there!

Puerto Rico Summer 2014 Update

The second part of the trip in Puerto Rico was very powerful! I had a great time with my family in Corozal and went to a beach in the northwest corner of the island. Azaryah and I had some good times of prayer during that time and returned to the church in Rio Grande 3 days later to film interviews of Azaryah and I that they would air on their TV program, as well as film us playing music together. This was an awesome opportunity that the Lord gave us and an awesome thing about it is that the Lord had told me about it before we went down to Puerto Rico. I had the opportunity to share several testimonies of the Power of God to encourage viewers and give Glory to God! He alone is Worthy of Praise! P12407102014-06-04 14.52.52

The same night after we had filmed for the TV program I had the opportunity to preach at the church’s youth meeting. It was a good time and I especially enjoyed to see God move and heal as the youth prayed for one another. After I had preached and ministered on the violin I had the youth pray for those who were in pain and a young man’s knee was healed. For some weeks he had been unable to bend his knee without pain and had been unable to kneel. After one of the young people prayed for him he was able to bend his knee and move it around painlessly! Praise the Lord!!!

The following day, the retreat for which I had gone to Puerto Rico begin. Azaryah and I taught two workshops and I had the opportunity to preach the last session of the retreat. The Lord moved throughout the whole retreat and there was a wonderful freedom to worship the Lord and enjoy His Presence! During that last session there was such grace for preaching on me that I ended up preaching a lot longer than I realized. Sadly since the time flew by I did not realize that I had run out of time for an altar call. The Lord moved anyway and I know that he had His way!

Throughout the whole trip I witnessed and heard testimonies from those we ministered to that were the fulfillment of some of the things that we had been praying into for that trip. We saw hearts awakened to the Lord, bodies healed and several young people be delivered of bondage in their lives!

After the retreat, Azaryah and I ministered again at the church on Sunday morning with our instruments (Cello and Violin). The service that morning was great and we continued on to get some lunch afterward. That afternoon we went to pray for an elderly lady that had been sick. When we arrived all her children but one had met at her house to pray for her also. It turned out to be a powerful time divinely appointed by the Lord! We all worshipped the Lord together and prayed for the elderly woman. Madeline, the wife and mother of the family that hosted Azaryah and I, felt that we should also pray for the children of the elderly woman that were there with us. When we did the Holy Spirit begin to minister deeply to them! They were weeping as the Holy Spirit was coming upon them. They shared with me after the whole ministry time that the words that we had given them and all that took place was the answer to months if not years of prayer. It was a time of reconciliation and forgiveness in the family! Praise the Lord! I love divine appointment like these!

I was invited to speak at the youth retreat for the church and so I will be flying back in the end of July! 2014 Puerto Rico Trip to be continued!

Ministry Trip to Puerto Rico (First Few Days)

10152578_10152191227245749_1160562388909767232_n-2

The Lord has already been on the move as we have been in Puerto Rico. This past Friday, my friend Azaryah and I came to Puerto Rico to minister at a church, visit family, and minister at a retreat! We have had the opportunity to visit El Yunque, swim in the beach, play music, explore old town San Juan, and more things. We had the privilege, while we were working with the church our first 3 days in Puerto Rico, of staying with a wonderful family who love the Lord. Now we are in Corozal, my mother’s hometown, with my uncle’s family. It is so good to be with my family and I know that the Lord has something in store for them, already this morning as I was praying and praising God the Lord let me see that there were angels all over the garage where I was praying! I am excited to see all that the Lord will do! I want to focus on some of the highlights of the trip so far and also let you know how you can be praying for us.

Milagro de Amor

10330288_249959828543929_6758543141117137200_n

The church that I am co-laboring with in Puerto Rico, Iglesia Bautista Bethel, holds a special miracle service about once a month called, Milagro de Amor (Miracle of Love). Throughout the years of holding this service God has done mighty miracles and they have witnessed people being healed of cancer, even one testimony that I can remember, a person being raised from the dead. Azaryah and I joined the worship team with our instruments and experienced the power of God moving through the music. At one point during the service a lady came up to me and testified about a miracle of healing that she had experienced back in the summer of 2010 when Jon Shinkle and I prayed for her. Here is the testimony that we wrote from our experience that year and she testified that she has been well since that day, “One had intense spasms in both of her shoulders and she said she felt like she had heavy blocks on her shoulders; but when we prayed, the Lord completely healed her and took all the pain away! Praise God! She said she felt like she had been completely renewed, and the next day she told us she was able to sleep that night with no pain or discomfort!” Testimonies are always so exciting! God is worthy of recognition, remembrance and praise!

Visiting San Juan

P1240315

When we visited San Juan in the afternoon I was longing to play some music there on my violin to release the sounds of heaven that shift the atmosphere and usher in the blessing of God, as well as to enjoy the time of playing music! Because we would be walking around for a while I decided against carrying my violin all over San Juan and at times regretted the decision when I saw great spots to play music. I had a great time hanging out with friends, from Puerto Rico, some newly met. Finally at the end of the night around 9pm we went back to the cars where I would meet my cousin to come to Corozal. I decided then that I could play some music briefly before we left so I grabbed my violin and when I found a quite place that did not have other music I decided I would play there. Suddenly I began to hear young people singing and playing the guitar. It sounded like worship to me! And it was!!! They joyously invited me to join them when they saw me carrying an instrument and I gladly joined them!!! It was such a powerful time and I got to do what I was longing to do, worship Jesus with my violin and release the sounds of heaven!!!

Now I am in Corozal with my family and I am expecting great things! Lord move mightily and touch my family with Your Love, fill them with Hope in You!

Prayer Points for This Time of Ministry in Puerto Rico

On the plane to Puerto Rico the Lord said to me, “Watch and see what I will do”. This message from the Lord encouraged me greatly and produced worship in my heart! I believe that part of this message that God gave me is an exhortation for me to Watch which in the scriptures often has to do with prayer and waiting upon the Lord. I want to invite you into this Watch for Puerto Rico.

The things that I believe that God has assigned us to reap in Puerto Rico as well as to labor (Watch) for is: Awakening, Healing, and Deliverance. God has sent us to reap that which we have not sown and to sow that others may reap (John 4:38). Awakening – People’s hearts returning to the Lord, to seek Him with all that they are! This happens as the Word of God runs swiftly and is glorified. Healing – I believe that God wants to heal physical bodies and produce joy and rejoicing in the hearts of His people as He reveals His Power and Love! Deliverance – I believe that God wants to set people free from every weight: depression, loneliness, negative mindsets, belief that God is disappointed with us, not trusting in His love for us or others, and more. And to set people free from the sin that easily entangles: addictions, sexual immorality, bitterness and more.

Spiritual Breakthroughs to pray into:

  • Awakening (Pray: 2 Thessalonians 3:1, Colossians 4:3-4, Romans 10:17)
  • Healing (Pray: Isaiah 53, Mark 16:15-18, Matthew 8:3)
  • Deliverance (Pray: Isaiah 61, Psalm 139:23-24, Romans 12:1-2)

Events to pray for: I will be in Puerto Rico for another week and will be ministering to youth on Wednesday night, preaching at the retreat as well as ministering through the violin, and then on Sunday not sure what it will look like.

Other things to pray for:

  • That the Lord will protect us spiritually and physically, and give us strength and peace as we travel and minister (Psalm 91)
  • For the “Greater Works” (John 14:12)
  • That the Lord will bless my family with His touch (Joshua 24:15, Hebrews 1:14)
  • That the Lord will touch hearts and will transform lives (John 3)
  • That God would give me the words to speak when I preach, the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and the ease to express in Spanish what the Lord shares with me! (Pray: 2 Thessalonians 3:1, Colossians 4:3-4, Romans 10:17)
  • That the believers we come in contact with through ministry or divine appointments will be encouraged in their faith and empowered to live in greater surrender before the Lord! (Ephesians 4:29)

Look what the Lord has Done! Awaken the Dawn 2014

Outreach at a park during Awaken the Dawn

I have barely caught up on all that took place at Awaken the Dawn and here I am now writing about new experiences in God! I am currently writing about what the Lord is doing in Puerto Rico! I will give you some quick highlights from ATD and then move on to what is happening now! I was blessed with the opportunity to preach during one of the morning sessions at Awaken the Dawn! Ronnette Cooper and I shared a session Friday morning where we taught on prophecy and healing. To view the video recording of that session click here or visit http://www.awakenthedawn.net/webstream and look for the Friday morning session! There were so many testimonies of healing taking place that morning and throughout the rest of the conference. One family friend was healed of a painful digestive condition where her stomach was in pain every time she ate and after. She was healed of the pain Friday morning of the conference and from that point on did not experience the terrible pain when she would eat! Glory to God! I also had the privilege of leading a young man to the Lord who had been dabbling in the occult. I would love to share the experience in more detail some time but will say that after he gave his life to the Lord and repented of his sins (the occult, addiction, and other sins), the Lord healed him of a terrible pain that he had been experiencing on his side. I felt pain on that same side while I prayed for him and I knew that it was demonic, but the Lord delivered him and as he was overcome by the power of God on the floor he testified that all of the pain was completely gone!!!

About a hundred people went out to preach the Gospel all around the city of Fredericksburg, below are some of the testimonies of healing and salvation during that outreach!

God Moves Across Virginia!

ATD 2014

God is Good! His lovingkindness is everlasting! I praise God for all that He has done in my life in the past years and last couple of months! I want to catch you up on some of what the Lord has been doing and testimonies of healing!!! Also I want to let you know about Awaken the Dawn! It’s coming up!

Awake VA Tour
In the second week of April a team from the Prayer Furnace traveled to various university campuses across Virginia preaching the Gospel and ministering to students! We also ministered to various groups: praying groups and churches. We had such a good time seeing the Lord move and use us! In UVA we were able to preach the Gospel to over a hundred students while we were doing an outreach! On the grounds of UVA we went to the amphitheater to play music and worship Jesus. Over a hundred students were gathered in the area where the music and what was shared from that stage could be heard clearly. It is amazing how the acoustics work in an amphitheater. So we took advantage of the position and were able to share the Good News!!!
2014-04-14 13.11.57
I was blessed with the opportunity to minister to a group of women in Charlottesville along with some of the ladies in our team. I was able to minister with the violin over every woman there and afterward because of lack of time preached probably one of the shortest messages I have ever preached! Praise God it was powerful!
One night as I ministered on the violin over a lady that had scoliosis, the tightness and pressure left her back! I came to find out later when someone shared with me what she had told them about her experience! God is Good!
2014-04-11 14.16.30
One of my favorite things about this Tour was how the Lord spoke to us through dreams and led us! I can think of at least 4 dreams, off the top of my head, that the Lord gave us and as we went we would see their fulfillment.
In Virginia Tech we saw well over 15 manifestations of healing in different students!!! It was amazing! One of them is a football player for Virginia Tech. After he was healed, he began to pray for many other students and God was healing them! Some of his teammates that were there that night said that they would share these testimonies with the football team there!!!
Online Giving

If you want to sow financially into the ministry that God has called me to you can click this link and write Sebastian Angulo on the Memo!!!

So many wonderful things happened! I had the opportunity to preach the Gospel at VCU in a large area with a compass on the floor that they call a “freedom of speech zone.” As I began to feel from the Lord that I should preach the Gospel someone who did not know what I was sensing asked me to stand in the very middle of the compass and play my violin. There must have been over 40 people that sat through the message and heard the Good News! God is Good! We were able to engage with many in conversation and share the Love of Jesus!
Healing Testimonies!
At the Prayer Furnace we have been praying in this season especially for the power of God to began to manifest more in healing! We began to pray for different members of our community that need healing! One person that we were praying a lot for was Sarah. She had been fighting disease for many years and some years back found out that she had lymes disease. We visited her house almost on a weekly basis to pray for her healing. She was at a point that it was hard for her to even walk. We kept going in faith and praying for her during prayer meetings. Almost a month back the Lord broke in!!! While she was praying with her husband one Monday night the power of God fell on them and she began to shout, praise and jump up and down! The doctors did not know if there was any hope and she had had a seizure that could have killed her less than a week before the breakthrough. But God had His way in her body! The next time I saw her I was shocked at how much energy she was displaying!!! She has experienced that over 80% of the symptoms have ceased since that breakthrough!!! Praise the Lord!!!
Another person in our community that had been sick and we had been praying for was scheduled for a surgery this week. When she showed up for the surgery they opened her up and the problem they were going in to fix was not there!!! The doctor was shocked and said that they had never seen something like that! The doctor said, “There must have been a lot of people praying!” God is good!
Prayer Room 2014
During our Prophecy and Healing Service in the prayer room this past Tuesday night 2 people experienced relief in their bodies that had been having a lot of tension in their necks and shoulders. One shared that they had been having a hard time breathing and that in order to relax her body she always had to take medications. But as she sat receiving prayer she began to feel the muscles throughout her body relaxing. She knew that the Holy Spirit had touched her!!! Praise the Lord!
Awaken the Dawn!
I want to invite you to come to Awaken the Dawn on May 22-25th. It is free but you have to register to come! This conference has been catalytic in the lives of many people that I know, including myself, to spark a life of Love and hunger for Jesus. Many have encountered the presence of God and been transformed. Come this year!
Also leading up to Awaken the Dawn our prayer room is open all day from Monday to Saturday! We are going 24/6 So if you want to come pray at 3am or 4am or 8pm we will be there!

Refreshing His Church!

An update on some of what the Lord has been doing in my life recently! Sorry that I have not updated many of you on the new things that have been going on!!! A lot has been taking place! God is moving. Already this year I have had the opportunity to preach and minister at 3 churches this year and God has brought refreshing and healing to many!

First I preached at a hispanic church in Northern Virginia! The Holy Spirit poured out during that time. One young woman felt a strong wind come over her after I had preached about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. It was a wonderful time!

Desktop_01_Title_01_00001

Last weekend I had the opportunity to preach at a Russian church in Columbus, OH. It was an 8 hour drive there and afterward an 8 hour drive back but it was worth it! One young person warned me about their church that they would not clap, say amen, or really respond in any way when I preached because they normally don’t. I found them to be funny warnings but it did give me an idea of how the church normally responds to messages. I later asked a person on staff how they do altar calls to make sure that I don’t step on the way they do things and he told me that people don’t normally respond to altar calls. He told me that I could try it if I wanted to but that people would not respond. When I finally did get to preach the Lord moved powerfully! Many were encouraged by the Lord and those who were loosing hope or had none were strengthened! People clapped their hands, said “Amen!”, responded to the altar call, laughed with me! It was a fun and wonderful experience to be in the midst of God’s plans to refresh that congregation! One man had pulled his hamstring  and was in a lot of pain from it. As we prayed for him all of pain left! Praise God! It was a beautiful church and they received me with great love and hospitality! I will copy some links to the bottom of this update so that you can view the message I preached at the church on youtube!

This past weekend was amazing! Many were ministered to prophetically through words and music! A church entered afresh into expressions of love and adoration for our Lord Jesus! Some that had never danced before the Lord danced before the Lord, there was a sense of freedom to Love the Lord without restraint! The Lord is Good!!! Many were healed, we have counted that somewhere around 75 people were healed of various conditions: carpel tunnel, scoliosis, fibromyalgia, and other things! One lady I prayed for felt the power of God come all over her so that she could not stand anymore. The severe tension that she felt from the top of her head down to her ankles loosed. She could feel the numbness that was on her arms sliding off and leaving out of her hands! God is Good! Another person that I prayed for had had chronic pain in his arms, legs and joints for months. After praying several times the pain was gone and he told me that he had not felt that good in months! Hallelujah!!! I was also blessed financially and a lady purchased for me an expensive wireless mic that was worth over 300 dollars so that I can be empowered in other congregations to minister prophetically through the violin over people with out being tied on stage to a cable! God is so good to me and to His children!!!
