Wow!!! God has been doing amazing things! He never ceases to surprise me! Because it has been so long since I have written an update I feel overwhelmed with stories and testimonies that I would love to share but due to time and space will be unable to in this newsletter. I would however like to focus on 3 topics this newsletter: Ministering in Different Places, Going to Turkey, and Sozo Seminar!

Ministering in Different Places

Burn Wagon

Along with the awesome experiences of the summer I have had the privilege to pour into young people that I have taken with me on these ministry ventures! After I got back from the Burn Wagon this summer, (a 3-week-long ministry road-trip from Oklahoma to Maine and back) I went to preach at a house church close to Richmond, VA. The Lord blessed me with great inspiration as I taught and people were greatly blessed by the message. Here is an excerpt of the message:

“That which is in the darkness is in the enemies camp but that which is in the Light belongs to the Lord. Our testimonies are victories of the Kingdom of Light! The difference in our stories from the times we were in darkness is that they are no longer in darkness but have come into the light. No longer are we trying to hide our deepest failures because in the light God has turned them around into His Greatest Victories”

That Sunday a man’s knee that had been in significant pain was healed! Also my mom was there and her hands had been in pain for over a year unbeknownst to me. The two young men I brought with me prayed for her and all the pain left. They also prayed for my dad’s shoulder. That night when my dad went to sleep was the first night in a long time that his arm did not fall asleep! The Lord did many other things that day!

There have been so many amazing things happening but cannot write them all now. I have posted many short video testimonies in my website, check them out! Here is the link: https://sebastianangulo.com/testimonies/2013-healing-testimonies/

I’m Going to Turkey!!!

Last Year in Turkey

Last Year in Turkey

In less than two weeks I will be flying out to Turkey! From the 6th-20th of October I will be in Turkey! I have been preparing for this trip since learning Turkish! I have learned so much and am very excited to get to use what I know and practice it! I will be going with a team from the Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace! We will be joining in and helping to run a worship and prayer meeting that will go unstopped for over 100 hours!!! I’m excited about all that the Lord will do as we are there. Last year the Lord amazed us with some amazing opportunities and experiences. I posted a video sharing about the experience you can view it here! https://sebastianangulo.com/2012/10/06/turkey-video-update/

At the moment I am actually still in need of finances for the trip and there are many on the team that also need finances. If you are interested in giving towards this trip you can do so in this link:

https://secure1.nm-secure.com/theprayerfurnace/support.

In the memo write “Turkey Sebas.” Or you can send checks to 6102 Rising Sun Rd. Fredericksburg VA 22407. Make checks out to “FPF” and also write in the memo “Turkey Sebas.” These will be tax-deductible donations!

Sozo Seminar!

Another exciting opportunity that I get to be a part of just before flying out to Turkey is the “SOZO: Prophecy, Healing and Deliverance Seminar”! I, along with a good friend and anointed minister Ronnette Cooper, will be teaching on the topics mentioned in the title of the seminar! Ronnette is also one of the friends with which I, along with our friend David Fritch, made contemplative prayer and worship album called “Resting in the Father’s Arms.” We are so excited and expecting great things from the Lord! Here is a description I wrote about it:

“For this reason was the Son of Man made manifest, to destroy the works of the Devil.”  I John 3:8

Come! Join us on Saturday, October 5th to learn to walk and operate in the superNATURAL power of God! Jesus was manifested on the earth to destroy the works of the devil!!! This is precisely what He has also called us to do; to destroy the works of the devil! We will take this seminar to focus on the ministry of the Holy Spirit through believers to Prophesy, to Heal, and to Set the Captives Free! This will not just be a seminar of lectures but will include practical activation into the very things we will be teaching! Expect to see: the Sick Healed, the Thoughts of God Toward His Beloved People Declared, and the Captives set Free!!! We are excited about what the Lord will do and hope to see you there!

The SOZO: Prophecy, Healing & Deliverance Seminar will be held in the Prayer Room. The address is:

 4430 Lee Hill School Dr

Fredericksburg, VA  22408

Come join us!!! You won’t regret it! J

Closing

The Lord has been doing amazing things and I know that He will continue to move! Again, I will be in Turkey from the 6th-20th of October, keep me in your prayers. Pray that God would open opportunities to preach the Gospel with power! That worshippers would be raised up in Turkey to lift up the Name of Jesus above the Islam call to prayer! And that our team would walk in a supernatural grace and unity from God! Thank you for taking the time to read this newsletter! If you have any prayer requests, encouragements, testimonies, or thoughts you would like to share with me you can email me. sangulo@theprayerfurnace.org. Blessings!

To the Fame of His Name!

Summer 2013 Update

Adventures in God!!!

This summer the Lord moved powerfully in different cities that I visited with the Burn Wagon! I have not had the opportunity to put a newsletter together as I normally would so I decided to send this overview I put together in my blog of what the Lord did around the Northeast region of the United States! Many were healed, saved, refreshed!!! The Lord is Good!

Burn Wagon

The Burn Wagon North-East!!! In the past week we have come all the way from Shawnee, Oklahoma and are now in Washington D.C.!!! The Lord has been moving powerfully during this trip and has divinely ordained our steps! During our training in Oklahoma the Lord began to heal many people! Over 25 people had been healed then and since we have seen the Lord continue this pattern wherever we have gone!!!

Our first stop was in Wilmington, OH! There we worked with Wilmington House of Prayer and over 18 churches and ministries doing an outreach at a park the 15th of June! While at the park two of us walked towards the basketball court and I said that I wanted to pray for somebody with knee pain. When we got down to the court, we saw one guy playing basketball that had a knee-brace on! After he got done playing we spoke with him to ask if we could pray for him and found out that he had been in a lot of pain while he was playing. As we prayed I knew with certainty that he would be healed! He checked out his knees and had no more pain!!! For 20 or more minutes he had been in pain and the Lord healed him!!!

In Wilmington we also led worship at Dove Church and David Fritch preached an amazing message on Honor! That Sunday morning many people were healed and there was a man who’s legs were uneven that was healed as well! As our guys prayed for him the legs evened out and the pain he had in his lower back completely left!!!! God is Good!

Next we went to Chillicothe and met with and encouraged a praying group there!

We left Chillicothe and made our way down to Fredericksburg VA! On our way we stopped to get some gas in West Virginia and as we were going back to the highway the Lord re-routed our GPS so that it led us right to a church!!! We were tempted to get back on the road but knew that the Lord had clearly led us there. Courtney and I got down to see if we could pray for anyone in the church and the executive pastor of the church gathered all the staff in the sanctuary for us to pray over and prophesy! They were greatly encouraged as also we were by the Lord’s leading! The Lord had set us up! We arrived in Fredericksburg and had a healing service at the Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace the 18th of June. Many people came and over 22 people received healing in their bodies! One lady that had cancer and had been unable to walk well for over 2 years was healed and began to run in the front of the prayer room!!! People that had come in limping left walking normally. Feet pain, neck pain, shoulder pain and much more were healed!!!

Finally we came up to Washington DC! This morning and early afternoon we did an outreach at Rabaut Park in DC! As the team led worship the presence of the Lord was falling in the park and evangelism was easy! 4 different people gave their lives to Jesus and many were healed!!! And a couple of people were healed and were able to share their testimonies in front of all that were in the park!!! Praise the Lord!!! Tomorrow we go to NYC and after that to Waterville, ME! Lord Continue to move in power!!!

On this journey across the Northeast region of the United States and then the return back to Oklahoma the Lord did wonderful things!!! From Washington DC we missed our fun day in New York City because one of our team members got sick while we were still in DC. She stayed at a hospital over night but praise God it was nothing major and was released that next morning. That put us behind schedule and we did not arrive in the NYC area until later that evening. From there we went to Waterville, ME!

In Waterville the Lord gave a message of hope through David Fritch encouraging the people to take up their dreams again. We ministered at Kingdom Life Church that Sunday morning and for their evening service I preached about what has been made available to us in Christ! That evening during the ministry time our team witnessed God moving, healing physical bodies and hearts! One lady that had scoliosis was healed and she actually felt herself growing taller and her friend next to her saw her actually growing as well! All of the pain left her back and tension on her shoulders also left! Many others were healed that evening and the Lord was glorified!

Burn Wagon CrewWe continued back down to New Jersey and there had a great time at Resting Place House of Prayer. That night many people were healed and a man that had cerebral palsy was receiving healing progressively and was able to walk and take steps without assistance!

From New Jersey we went to Boston. On our way we ran out of gas! I had forgotten to put gas in and in the rush to get out of the city did not look to see how much gas we had left. David ran to find a gas station but our iPhones directions to the 2 closest gas stations turned out not to be gas stations. A car had conveniently to us run out of power steering fluid and stopped right in front of us. The people in the car graciously gave me a ride to a gas station and back despite their circumstance and we were delayed no more than 45 minutes! Praise the Lord!

In Boston some of our scheduled plans fell through but the Lord still had His way. In the evening we participated at a worship meeting for teenagers with a ministry in Boston and there we witnessed many young people getting healed. One of the guys on our team, Jack, prayed for a young man during worship and his back was healed! From there they let us call out words of knowledge and many people were responding to the words to receive prayer. One young man had twisted his ankle earlier that day while we were playing Ultimate Frisbee. When he did I had faith that he would be healed. That night during the healing time someone prayed for him and all of the pain left his ankle! The faith of many young people was strengthened and refreshed!! God is so Good!!

The next day we went to Cambridge and visited the Harvard Campus. As we were looking around our team began to witness to people close by! That day became an evangelism explosion! Our team was eager to evangelize and heal the sick on the streets but due to much traveling we had not had as many opportunities as we would have all liked. They forgot about the fact that it was not a scheduled outreach and we encouraged them to keep their eyes open for opportunities. People were getting healed on the streets! The ground was not hard as we have supposed but people were open to receive prayer and were thankful, not every one but many! At Harvard we received a tour from Jamie Dickson who is amazingly knowledgeable about the history there, it’s Christian roots and progression into humanism. We left with faith that God wants to break in to the campus once again and release revival!

That same day we went to Salem, Massachusetts where for some years witches and people involved in diverse occultic expressions have concentrated. That city has for a long time had a dark atmosphere; the downtown area has some blatant reference to witchcraft in almost every shop and building. When we pulled into the city we would have expected the atmosphere to be heavier, but as we came in praying and worshipping Jesus singing “Jesus is the King of Salem,” a supernatural joy began to fill us. We were able to walk through the streets in Salem with confidence that Jesus desired that city and people. We were confident that he would have His way! Jamie also gave us a tour there and shared testimonies of what God has been doing. Jamie heads up an outreach there on October 31st when witches and those involved in witchcraft gather in Salem to celebrate. They preach the Gospel with power and many people have been healed and saved as a result.

After our tour in Salem we began to preach the Gospel to people on our way to the car. I got to pray for a young man whose wrist was hurt and he was instantly healed! He exclaimed, “It worked,” and all his friends with him heard his testimony! Sadly he did not want me to tell him about Jesus because he was wiccan. I encouraged him that the reason why Jesus healed him is because He loves him and I believe this was a powerful seed! David and Courtney prayed for a lady who had really bad pain in her back. As they prayed for her the rain clouds had been parting and a rainbow appeared in the sky as the sunlight came into the city. We all felt that was significant and took it as a promise about God’s desires for that city! The lady David and Courtney were praying for was completely healed and at first was so shocked that she did not even want to move!!!

Rochester, New York was our last stop before heading back to Shawnee, OK! We ministered at a house church there on Thursday night and after the message as we called out words of knowledge people were getting healed before we even had a chance to pray for them. One lady’s neck cracked into place and the pain began to lift off until it was completely gone! Many others were healed that night and refreshed by the Lord! The next day we helped and worked on a property in Rochester that the church and pastors will be using. The property itself is such a huge testimony, how the Lord gave it to them. We painted, weeded, trimmed and more! It was a blessing to serve and pour in to their vision! We did a Burn that night, extended hours of prayer and worship done in shifts, with Burn Rochester at the property we had worked on that day. One of our guys CJ wanted to stay up all night to continue the worship and prayer, so half of our team decided to do it with him and worshipped Jesus through the night!

We made our way to St. Louis the next morning! We got an incredible deal to stay at a really nice hotel in downtown St. Louis. When we woke up to go to Shawnee we saw that the city’s first gay pride parade was taking place that morning. We felt that it was a divine set up from the Lord for us to love on and minister to those participating. We split into groups and began to sharing the Gospel and praying for people. One team prayed for a guy who was a dancer and had pulled a muscles or something like that in his back. He was instantly healed and was shocked! One other person that we know of received physical healing that day. Another one of our teams took a picture with “queen” of the parade as a means to talk with him and share the Love of God. They were able to speak life and hope that are found in Christ Jesus into his life!

DSC_0087

That night we finally made our way into Shawnee, OK and reunited with all the other Burn Wagon teams! The reunion was loud and with great joy as teams pulled in. At the prayer room in Shawnee we shared testimonies from our respective trips. As we were sharing testimonies of God’s healing power a woman in the room that had been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer was filled with faith and asked us to pray for her. The 50+ students and leaders from Burn Wagon gathered around and prayed with faith. The one sign that we saw of healing was that her lips that had been numb from a mini-stroke she had had was no longer numb!!! That was an encouraging sign to us and we are excited to hear the full report!

The Lord rocked our lives on this trip and I know that many will never be the same! God is Great! I’ll finish this out with a quote from Tannon the director of Burn Wagon. “Well 3 weeks, (3 teams,) 200+ healings and dozens of salavtions later the BurnWagon teams have left for home! America will never be the same and neither will we!”

Divine Appointment! (March 2013 Newsletter)

The Lord moved Powerfully in the month of March! This past month the Lord has begun to put a new hunger in my heart and has really been making me think about His call on my life. I’ve been realizing more and more how out of touch I really am with all that He has and He is causing me to earnestly desire to be in touch with His heart: for the lost, for His people, and more. I have been realizing my need for meekness and humility more and more. He is Good! He loves to make us realize how dependent we truly are on Him. I am pressing in for breakthrough in these areas in my heart: to know Jesus more, His heart and emotions and to act in agreement with what He desires in me! Join me in this pursuit to be more and more like Christ!!! In this newsletter I will share about: Divine Appointments! The Tour! and Supernatural Ministry Class Pt. 2!

Worship and ministry during the Ministry Set! :)

Divine Appointments!

One of the Amazing experiences that I had in the month of March took place after leaving my favorite fast food, Chipotle! I had just recently bought a new iPhone. I put the phone on the roof of my car as I was putting the leftovers in my car and then I left to head over to the Burn Service at the Prayer Furnace Events Center. On my way I realized that I did not have the iPhone and then was struck with the fact that I had left it on the roof of my car when I left Chipotle!!! I was glad that I had an Otter Box to protect it and hoped that it had not fallen into the road. I pulled into Steak and Shake hoping to see that the phone was still on the roof!! I pulled into a parking spot next to a jeep, came out of my car and when I looked there was my cell phone still on the roof!! I had been praying since I found out that it was on the roof and rejoiced loudly when I saw it there; laughing, thanking God and thinking “This will make a fun story.” As I was pulling out, a young guy in the driver’s seat of the jeep asked called to get my attention and I when I noticed him I stopped the car and rolled down the window to hear what He had to say. I did not realize that there was anyone in the jeep and also realized how funny I would have looked to those guys in the jeep as I talked with God whom they could not see and laughed when I got the iPhone from my roof. He asked me if I had been driving with my phone on the car and I affirmed that I had with a rejoicing that it had not fallen off.

I began driving away but realized that this was a divine appointment and that I had an opportunity to speak to them and share the Gospel. I parked somewhere and walked over to them. I introduced myself to them and began talking. At one point I received a word of knowledge for the neck area that God wanted to heal! I asked the two guys in the driver and passenger seats if they needed healing in their neck and one of them did. As we prayed briefly the guy we were praying for felt heat in his neck and all of the pain and discomfort left!!! He looked at his friends and I with a smile of surprise on his face and testified that it had left and assured us that he wasn’t kidding but that all of the pain had left!!! I proceeded to ask them if they knew Jesus and then on to preach the Gospel! As I was preaching the Gospel more of their friends pulled in to the parking spot next to them. They caught their friends up on what the Lord had done so far and I finished preaching the Gospel. The guy that had been healed decided not to give his life to the Lord then. I explained further that giving his life to the Lord would be the best decision of his life not only for eternity but even here on earth. I explained that he would experience freedom. As the Lord led me I began to tell him that he would no longer need to take pills or medicines to go to sleep and that God would deliver him from nightmares! His friends then said to him, “Don’t you have trouble sleeping!?” We all knew that God was clearly speaking!!! The others, who were already believers, felt the need and desire to surrender their lives to the Lord in a greater way! So we prayed a prayer of surrender and deeper commitment to Jesus!!! One of them came to me as I was leaving and shared that he had just been praying to the Lord and feeling drawn to pursue God more!! God is Good!!!

Sozo 2 Class

Sozo is a Greek word used in the Bible often times when we read in English “saved” or “healed” etc. It means ‘to be saved, to be healed, and to be delivered.’ The point of this class is to teach and train students in the ministry of the Holy Spirit and especially to teach them how to steward this ministry! Already the first four or five classes that we have had have been amazing! God is moving! In this class and others that I have been teaching the Lord has had me teach on topics that I myself really needed! It has been a lot of work but the fruit has been refreshing! Praise the Lord!

People receiving prayer during our Ministry Night! It’s Tuesdays 6-8pm if you are ever in the area and want to receive prayer for Healing or prophetic ministry!

Closing

I look forward to all that the Lord is doing! I will be going to Puerto Rico this summer to minister down there and then on to Oklahoma for the Burn Wagon! The Ministry Night at the Prayer Furnace has been amazing! The sweetness of the Lord has constantly been moving on us! One night a lady’s ears were healed, she was having a hard time hearing and everything sounded as though she was under water. As she was receiving prayer one ear popped open and then the other did as they prayed more and she was then able to hear clearly!! One other fun thing that happened in the month of March is that I participated with my violin in the recording of a soaking CD! There will be some instrumental tracks on the CD and it will hopefully be released at Awaken the Dawn this year!It is exciting to step into the works that God has prepared for me! (Ephesians 2:10). If you have any questions, thoughts, comments, prayer requests, etc. feel free to email me at sangulo@theprayerfurnace.org! Blessings!

New Things! (January-February Newsletter)

IMG_2078

The Lord has moved in so many amazing ways these first 2 months of 2013!!! I am 7 weeks into a class that I am teaching called “Life in His Presence”! There have been wonderful reports of encounters that students have had with the Lord as an outcome of this class. Many have been healed and touched by the Lord and in this newsletter I will highlight a few of those experiences!!! I want to focus on these topics briefly: Sunday Morning Fellowship! Jail Ministry! Sozo Department! Burn Wagon! and Teaching Classes!

Sunday Mornings

At the Prayer Furnace we have begun to gather on Sunday mornings to worship, preach the Word, and fellowship together. This has been an amazing addition to our ministry and has brought a lot of life. Many of us feel very refreshed by this service and it has added to a sense of family in our midst. Many have been blessed that were looking for a home church and the Lord has added to our family! God is Good!

Sozo Department

My responsibilities at the Prayer Furnace have shifted over the past couple of months. I have been asked to head up our ‘Sozo Department’, in other words our ‘Ministry-to-People’ Department. This includes ministry teams for our larger gatherings (Friday Night Burn Service and Sunday Mornings), outreaches to the community, and a Ministry Night. Organizing ministry teams has turned out to require more work than I expected, but things have been going great! The Tuesday Ministry Night is one event that I am really excited about! It will be from 6-8pm every Tuesday and we will take that time to pray for every individual that comes. Some may come to hear from the Lord, others for healing, others for breakthrough and we will take time to pray with every one! I’m expecting that many will receive healing and be encouraged by the Lord during that time!!! We will start this weekly meeting this Tuesday, March 5! Come and join us! Also we will be organizing a monthly outreach with quick training for all wanting to come along!!! The first one will be March 23rd! If you have any questions feel free to contact me! (sangulo@theprayerfurnace.org).

Jail Ministry

The Lord opened up an opportunity for me to go minister at a jail on February 15. I have desired to minister at a jail for some years now but nothing had really opened up. It was such a blessing to me that I have decided to go up at least once a month! At the jail I met some great men that are hungry for God. I got to play the violin and minister as I worshipped the Lord! At different points during the time of worship I had opportunities to share what the Lord was prompting me to share. One time I preached briefly on the Lordship of Jesus after Jason, one of the teammates had made a call for salvation, 8 or so of the inmates decided to give their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ! It was a powerful time and we felt the presence of the God throughout the whole meeting! Glory to God!!

Burn Wagon

Another amazing event that I will get to participate in will be the Burn Wagon this summer. The Burn Wagon is a three weeks missions ‘road’ trip where young adults go and minister in different churches and cities, holding prayer meetings, worship gatherings, evangelistic outreaches and more! I have been asked to co-lead the team that will be going to the Northeast region of the United States, Virginia to Maine. This is a very exciting opportunity, and in the past has proved to be catalytic to many churches and ministries. We believe for many to be saved, healed, set free and ignited with a fresh passion for God as we “Go”! Teams consist of young people – intercessors, musicians, artists, preachers, dancers, revivalists, and more – from the ages of 16-30 who have a burning passion to see the United States turn back to her first love and the Church rise as the victorious Bride of Christ. Teaching Classes

As I have mentioned in previous newsletters I am teaching different classes at the Prayer Furnace! This semester I have the opportunity to teach a class, Life in His Presence, that I have written the textbook for and also have prepared the curriculum for the class. The class meets on Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm. This has been a fun experience and the Lord has really breathed on it! I also have had to prepare another class that I will be co-teaching with Ronnette Cooper. That class will meet twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday from 9-11am and will begin March 26! This past week I had the opportunity to teach the interns about healing! They were powerful sessions! The first class I had 14 pages of notes of which I only covered the first two points of the first page of the notes in 2 hours. A couple of the interns received healing as they prayed for one another! During the second session I covered most of the notes and demonstrated some helpful step-by-step tools when praying for the sick. I asked for one of the students who had pain in their body to come to the front. A young man came to the front because he had pain in his lower back. As I taught the interns through it I had 2 of the interns pray for the young man and the pain completely left his lower back!!! Glory to God! Their excitement was wonderful and one of the students that evening prayed for his dad and God healed him! Hallelujah!!!

Closing

The Lord is doing wonderful things in our day and I am so grateful to be a part of it! He uses the willing, and strengthens them by His Spirit! Praise the Lord for His Goodness!! Praise the Lord for He is Faithful! Thank you for taking the time to read this newsletter! If you have any prayer requests, testimonies, encouragements, or questions about any of the events I’ve mentioned, feel free to share them with me! You can email me at sangulo@theprayerfurnace.org. I pray that the Lord, in Jesus Name, encourages you who read this newsletter!

Looking to the Father!

As I mentioned last blog The Lord has given me the opportunity to teach a class, Life in His Presence, at the Prayer Furnace!  I want to make the audio of the class sessions available to those who would like to hear it. Here is the second session of the class. When I first began preparing for the class The Lord began to speak to me about His Ways. The Children of Israel in the desert “went astray in their hearts and did not know His Ways, therefore He swore in His wrath that they would not enter His rest.” Because they did not know His ways they went astray and would not enter His rest. This realization led me to explore to find what are the Father’s Ways. Moses asked The Lord to show him His ways and shortly afterward to show him His Glory. The Lord responded to His request by doing both. As He showed Moses His Glory, He proclaimed His Name, which are His Ways. “The LORD, The LORD merciful and gracious…” Everything the Lord does overflows from who He is. Though His actions may be different each time, His Ways are the same. Whether He judges a nation or financially blesses them, it is overflowing from His Goodness. As we continue on this course, Life in His Presence, let us now explore the Father’s Ways! Click on the link below to download Session 2!

Session 2 – The Father’s Ways

s7302337.jpg

“A. A person’s ways are a constant factor in them, which determines how they will act. If a person is quick-tempered it is not surprising when they suddenly flare in anger at a minimal thing. Those who have lived with a group of people for more than a couple of weeks will be able to tell who doesn’t flush the toilet, who makes their bed, who’s clothes are always lying around on the floor, who clears the dishwasher, etc. because they get to know each other’s ways. If someone is gentle-hearted it is not a surprise if they go out of their way to help someone that fell down, because others know they are gentle-hearted. As we get to know others we begin to know their ways, or as we see other’s ways we get to know them. Ways are a constant that can be expected from a person in day-to-day circumstances.

B. This is what we will begin to peer into in our Heavenly Father. Moses asked God to reveal His Ways to him and this too is what we must do. Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!Holy Spirit is the One that searches the deep things of God, and He declares them to us (1 Corinthians 2:9-10; John 16:14). Through what He says about Himself, His Glory-filled interactions with His people Israel, and our own encounters with Him, the Holy Spirit will begin to teach us His unsearchable ways….

D. “Every good and perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning” (James 1:17). The Father’s Ways are always the same, He does not change or shift as the shadows. In the midst of darkness He still is Light, and darkness flees. In the midst of trouble, He is a very present help, He is our refuge (see Psalms 46:1). His Ways are constant no matter the circumstances. God said to Moses ‘I AM that I AM’ (Exodus 3:14). “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). He is constant. He is always Good!

E. The LORD reveals His ways through His actions, through His Glory. The Glory is the manifestation of His ways. In Numbers 14:11, the LORD asks Moses, “How long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among them? So we see that The LORD was revealing Himself to them through signs and wonders. The Glory brings revelation of His Ways.

Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight…Please, show me Your Glory.

Exodus 33:13,18

F. Moses asked The LORD to show him His way and the LORD said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you…” The Father’s Ways overflow from His Goodness; from His Love. He continues, “and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion” (Exodus 33:19). When the LORD proclaims His Name to Moses He declares to Moses the essence of who He Is, I AM, His Name. Everything He does overflows from those realities.

“Now the LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving the iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.’ So Moses made haste and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.”

Exodus 34:5-8

G. He is Good and His ways are according to that quality. Everything He does displays these attributes, whether it be refreshing a person or disciplining a nation. When somebody is very confidant it is visible in their actions, in the way they walk. Unaware of their ways, their confidence may be confused with arrogance. In like manner, God’s mercy, grace, patience, goodness and truth can seem harsh or foolish to those who are not acquainted with His ways….”

Learning to Enjoy God’s Presence!

At the Prayer Furnace this semester I am teaching a class called “Life in His Presence”! I will abbreviate this class, LIHP. The class has been going amazing and the Lord has been moving powerfully. Already there have been testimonies coming from students of encounters that they have had with the Lord from what we have talked about in the class or from times that we have prayed for different ones. I plan on making many of the sessions of this class available here, releasing a new one each week! I’m excited about this and invite any of you who would like, to take advantage of this class as you find time.

This first session is the introduction for the course! The title of the message is “Why Glory?” explaining some reasons and motivations that we are given be the Scriptures to pursue the Presence of God!!!

Break Out of the Natural: Supernatural Living!

Teaching at Marked Conference

Last weekend I had the opportunity to teach a breakout session at The Marked Teen Conference! I titled the message “Supernatural Living: Can God Use Me?” I felt a sense of expectation and hunger in my heart the whole conference and I believe many young people were Marked and impacted in significant ways. In the beginning of the conference I got to pray for a girl that had had a bump on her stomach are for as long as she could remember. As a couple of us prayed for her the Lord began to release healing in her body. She was able to feel the bump flattening out!!! God is Good! As I mentioned I also had the opportunity to teach a break out session. I love speaking and sharing from the Word of God so I was really excited! The Lord had given me a message which to me did not seem to fit together so well and I was actually a little nervous, but I knew that the Lord would give me the necessary grace to communicate it when the time came. The Lord is Faithful and when I had to teach the breakout session Grace was all over the message! I could tell that many of the youth had been challenged and touched by God! Praise the Lord! Below is a link to the message, you can click on it to download the audio file of the message ☺
Heads up! I’ve also updated the Healing Testimonies!!!

It’s a New Year (December 2012 Newsletter)

IMG_0005_2Praise the Lord!!! He is Faithful and has led us through 2012 into 2013. Praise God that He always leads us in triumph. He orchestrated so many wonderful experiences for me last year: using me to disciple leaders and interns with the Burn Internship, opening doors to preach at different churches throughout the year, eventually calling me out of working with the internship so that I would be able to preach at more churches. Great is His Faithfulness! I did not have to ask to preach at churches but was continually asked to do so by pastors and leaders! So faithful was the Lord to do what He promised that I even started getting exhausted because of the many opportunities. I ended the year in a mandatory season of rest prescribed for me by the Lord. I shared about this season or rest on my last Newsletter “Learning to Rest.” God is Good! There is so much to share but in this newsletter I will cover these two topics: December, and The Coming Season!

December!

During the month of December God opened many amazing doors! Doors were opening to teach the Internship classes and more sessions within a class that I was teaching on supernatural ministry with Ronnette. I must have taught over 12 different 2-hour sessions between the two classes. It was so much fun! Also I was asked to teach a breakout session for the SOZO Conference at the Prayer Furnace on December 8. That was an unexpected surprise and kiss from the Lord! God is Good! During the Christmas season I visited my family and old friends. I got to see my nieces and nephews before the moved to Texas. They are so cute! One of my friends was healed as I shared testimonies about healing, I wrote a blog about it called “Healed by a Testimony.” Overall the month of December was a great end to the year 2012 and I welcomed the New Year worshipping and dancing to the Lord with friends to Jewish-Messianic songs!

With the Nephews!

This Next Season!!!

I am very excited about this year! Already I was invited to preach at a church in Maryland and did so this past Sunday, the 6th of January. The Lord moved powerfully and touched the service with His sweet Presence. Also I’m excited about this first semester of classes at the Prayer Furnace! I will be teaching two different classes at our school of ministry. One will be “Life in His Presence” which I will be teaching on Wednesday nights 6-8pm at the Prayer Furnace starting January 23rd until May 8th! “Life in His Presence” is a class that will teach believers to enter into the Presence of the Lord and encourage them to stay there! I will share about the riches in God’s Glory and our responsibility to give Him Glory!!! The other class I will be co-teaching it along with Ronnette Cooper, it is called “Supernatural Ministry Pt. 2” which we will teach Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9-11am starting on March 19th until May 9th! The purpose of the class is to teach future leaders to live lives of deeper holiness and wholeness as well as to teach them how to lead groups into walking in the power of God. If you would like to register for either or both of these classes you can do so by clicking Here!

Winter Marked Teen Conference!

I have also been asked to teach a breakout session for the Marked Teen Conference in Fredericksburg on January 19th! It is a free conference and anyone can come you will just need to register online.

Conclusion

Thank you for taking the time to read to this newsletter, I appreciate your interest in what the Lord is doing in my life! I believe this will be a year where God will move in power. Let’s prepare our hearts and remain humble before Him! It will be increasingly more important to stay close to Him in the coming years. He is Good and He is able to Keep us! Feel free to email me any comments, prayer requests, encouragement, testimonies, etc. at sangulo@theprayerfurnace.org. Blessings!

Healed by a Testimony

photoThis Christmas season I was visiting some friends in Woodbridge Virginia that I had not seen for some some time; some I had not seen for some years! As I shared some stories and testimonies of what the Lord had been doing in my life I shared some testimonies of healing also. One of my friends, Greg, then asked me if I would pray for his shoulder that he had hurt playing football. Before I prayed for him I asked him to check out his shoulder to see what the pain was like. He moved it around and then had surprised look on his face. He kept moving it and moving it for some time but could not find the pain that had been there previously. I did not even get to pray for him and the Lord healed him!!! Glory to God! I am grateful that Jesus came as a man, healed many, preached Good News, Died for our sins! Rose From the Grave! And is seated at the right hand of the Father, still healing Today!!! He is God, He is Good!

I will be working now on a newsletter to debrief this exciting year in ministry! You won’t want to miss it.Come back an read it! :)
